Join us at Tupelo Agility Club for our five-week Intro to Dog Agility class, designed to accommodate dogs of all sizes and skill levels. Our classes are limited to 14 participants to ensure personalized attention and optimal learning experiences for you and your dog. 

Course Overview

This engaging series teaches your dog how to adeptly navigate various agility obstacles such as weave poles, A-frame, 8ft dog walk, pause table, seesaw, tunnel, tire jump, and single bar jump. It’s not just about physical agility; it’s about enhancing communication and strengthening the bond between you and your dog through the exciting world of agility sports. The course culminates in a friendly class competition, where a trophy awaits the winning team!

Class Schedule

Week 1: Introduction to agility, understanding class rules, and beginning obstacle training with A-frame, Dogwalk, and Seesaw.
Week 2: Continuing with Weave Poles and advancing Seesaw training.
Week 3: Mastering the Tunnel and Single Bar Jump.
Week 4: Learning the Pause Table and Tire Jump.
Week 5: Class Competition and Graduation ceremony.

Prerequisites

Dogs must be four months of age or older.
Must be social with all people; comfortable with strangers holding the leash.
No reactivity to other dogs in close proximity.
Able to perform ‘Sit’ and ‘Down’ commands for at least 30 seconds.

$175 for the complete five-week series.
