Basic Training
Our 14-day (On-Leash) Basic Training program, designed for dogs aged 16 weeks and older, offers an in-depth approach to instilling foundational behaviors necessary for optimal control of your dog. In this comprehensive program, your dog will master essential commands such as heel, sit, down, stay, place, and learn to navigate through doorways with ease.
An added bonus is the opportunity for daily 2-mile walks in the adjacent 153 acre city park. These walks are more than just exercise; they provide valuable real-world experiences, allowing dogs to practice their newly learned skills in various settings. This not only enhances the training effectiveness but also strengthens the bond between the dog and their trainer, ensuring a well-rounded, practical training experience.

I highly recommend Bryan Bailey and his Academy of Canine Behavior and Training’s Board and Train Program. Not only were all of the trainers who worked with our Sturgill to improve his “manners” absolutely wonderful, but the facilities are also top-notch. Everyone we encountered during Sturgill’s time there, including Bryan, the trainers and the kennel attendant, were amazing and showed genuine concern for Sturgill and his training needs. The other awesome part of using TACBT for training is the availability of ongoing refresher training, if needed. If anyone’s furbabies need training, the investment in them by using TABCT is totally worth it!
