Reactive Dog Program
Aggressive behavior in dogs towards humans and other animals often stems from competitive aggression, like resource guarding, or non-competitive aggression, including territorial or self-defense reactions. These behaviors can arise from inadequate training or inherent genetic factors leading to fearfulness.
The Academy offers a focused 21-day, on-leash board and train program tailored for reactive dogs over 16 weeks old. This program concentrates on teaching your dog to manage aggressive responses, ensuring you have effective control.
Before beginning, it may be necessary for Bryan to conduct an initial evaluation of your dog, either in person or virtually, to assess their specific needs. Upon scheduling, you'll be asked to fill out a Behavioral Assessment Form (BAF) to aid in this evaluation. The cost for this initial assessment is $300, applicable for both in-person and online evaluations. If a board and train program is recommended and selected, the $300 evaluation payment will be applied toward your board and train costs.
Cost - $3,400.00 plus $300 evaluation fee
Duration - 21 Days

We brought our dog to the Academy after struggling with on-leash reactivity towards other dogs for several months. There is so much advice out there, and I eventually just became overwhelmed watching her responses escalate. Nick and Madi were professional, knowledgeable, kind, and listened to our needs to craft a training plan. We had already worked very hard on obedience training, and they solidified her skills alongside the primary issue of her reactivity. They trained us too, and gave us the tools we needed to maintain the huge behavior change they achieved during her boarding program. We brought home a more peaceful version of our dog, able to take on the real world with us. I cannot be more impressed by and grateful for their work!
