Kira's journey, characterized by remarkable resilience and a vivid entrepreneurial spirit, stands as both an inspiration and an exceptional model.

A survivor of ovarian cancer, a devoted mother to two exceptionally talented children who have pursued their academic dreams at the University of Chicago and the University of Pennsylvania, and a self-proclaimed cat person in the dog world, her life story stands as a testament to perseverance and enduring strength.

From a young age, Kira exhibited a natural flair for entrepreneurship. At just three years old, she embarked on her first entrepreneurial venture. She collected rocks, painted them, and set them out in a box by the mailbox for passersby to "purchase" using the honor system. Little did she know that her father was her first and only customer.

With a solid academic background in economics and business, Kira honed her professional skills in prestigious environments, including the Ritz-Carlton and Keswick Hall. Her dedication to education and community welfare led to the establishment of three Montessori schools, which continue to make a significant impact over two decades later.

Originating from Tupelo, Mississippi, Kira's journey is steeped in the warmth and friendliness characteristic of the South. Her personal and professional lives converged beautifully when she met Bryan. Together, they form a formidable married team, having co-founded and successfully run their dog training and rehabilitation business, expanding their services into both in-person and digital platforms.

Now, as they spearhead The Academy for Canine Behavior and Training, Kira and Bryan bring their combined strengths and experiences to focus on dog obedience and agility. This new chapter emphasizes their shared passion for helping dogs and their owners build strong relationships through expert training, offering both local and virtual programs designed to make every dog a well-behaved, confident companion.
